Lashotor grey marble
Lashotor, also known as Pietra Grey, comes from the Isfahan area. It has a dark grey background crossed by white veins. Rana Stone documents its quarry in the Lashotor district: the material name refers to an area with several quarries, not a single operator.
To compare a supply: identify quarry and batch, check usable dimensions and compare samples with the same finish. Physical tests must refer to the selected stone.
An offer is easier to read when three levels are distinguished: area of origin, quarry name and trade name. Chahmorghi is documented in Dehbid district; Shayan’s official website identifies Bavanat. Both are in Fars.
Breccia contains angular fragments held in a matrix or cement. The USGS example at Titus Canyon shows limestone pieces cemented by calcite: it explains the structure, not an Iranian quarry.
This guide brings together different appearances: Chahmorghi and Shayan cream stone, Persian Silk greys and Scatto & Bianco crystalline white. These names guide research; the quarry profiles document the producer’s stated origin.
