Breccia contains angular fragments held in a matrix or cement. The USGS example at Titus Canyon shows limestone pieces cemented by calcite: it explains the structure, not an Iranian quarry.
In the stone trade, a name containing “Breccia” may also describe appearance. Scatto & Bianco is presented by its producer as veined crystalline stone; we do not reclassify it from a photograph. Breccia Scarlatta and Breccia Citrina retain their Reza Molai selection names without an unconfirmed public quarry attribution.
For selection, request views of the faces, a cut sample and information about filling and reinforcement. Pattern continuity is assessed across the batch.
