Athens BUILD EXPO opens with Greek marble in focus
BUILD EXPO Greece 2026 opened at the Metropolitan Expo in Athens on 23 October and runs through 25 October. StoneNews.eu reports a prominent Greek marble presence alongside construction, building materials, machinery and site technologies.
Companies are presenting slabs, tiles and bespoke architectural elements, including white marbles from Thassos, Drama and Kavala and coloured stones from the Peloponnese and mainland Greece. Regional pavilions and B2B meetings with international buyers form part of the programme.
Sessions also cover sustainable construction, energy efficiency, digitalisation and certification. Exhibition participation signals promotional activity, but it does not by itself establish orders or completed commercial results.
